What I have learned from Bug

Tomorrow Bug will be 3 years old and she has graciously allowed me to take over her blog for a day. Here are 10 of the things I have learned from 3 years of living with Bug:

1. when in doubt lick someone
2. take pleasure in the little things like the crunch of an almond, a blade of grass, resting your head on a soft pillow
3. don't let anyone ever beat you out of the starting box
4. just when you think you can't possibly feel this much love for another living creature, that is the moment your love for them truly deepens
5. you gotta wear your racing muzzle if you are going to get to race
6. if you are not going to be exuberant then go back to bed
   
7. the bottle the water comes in is just as important as the water itself (and the cap is pretty fun to chew on)
8. nobody can resist a fully body wag
9. when you don't get what you want just decide you really wanted something else anyway
10. sometimes things are just meant to be
